Draft — pending solicitor review. This page is a complete working draft, not final legal copy. It must be reviewed and approved by a solicitor qualified in UK prize competition, consumer, and data protection law before Crazy-Odds accepts real payments or publishes this page live.
Our approach
Crazy-Odds competitions require a genuine skill, knowledge, or judgement-based answer to enter — they are not games of chance, and are not gambling. That said, we want everyone who enters to do so comfortably and within their means, so we build a few simple protections into the Site.
Spending sensibly
- Only spend what you can comfortably afford. Never borrow money, or use money set aside for essentials, to enter a competition.
- Every competition page states the entry price, the maximum number of entries, and the odds this implies — read these before entering.
- Set yourself a personal budget for entries and stick to it, the same way you would for any other purchase.
Account controls
- Per-competition purchase limits are enforced automatically, so no single account can buy an unlimited number of entries into one competition.
- You can close your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us.
- [If a spending-limit or self-exclusion feature is built in a later phase, describe it here — it is not yet implemented in Phase 1.]
To close your account, use your account settings or get in touch via our Contact page.
